The nascent Trump administration is fifty-some-odd days old, so their official war on wind has just begun.
But wind advocates are already seeing signs that, to borrow a phrase from doom-sayers of old, ‘The end is nigh.’
My hard little heart was gladdened by this sorrowful mewling.
Since Trump took office, the wind industry has lost 300 jobs and stalled another 10,000.
He’s tanking clean energy, threatening our power grid, and killing American jobs.https://t.co/PNFkXdEk0E

Climate Power, the group Xweeting this, is one of the greatest offenders in the vicious shell game that is the climate cult. They have more money than God to burn – not to save the whales anymore, mind you, but to push the renewables grift.
Well…shove it down everyone’s throat is closer to the truth.
President Joe Biden has overseen a clean energy boom across the country, fueling new industries, factories and jobs.
But many Americans are not aware of it — or the historic climate law behind it.
Climate Power wants to change that. With a war chest of $80 million, the communications organization will launch a massive digital and television advertising and education campaign over the next year on Biden’s climate record.
“We’re focused on telling the story of the huge opportunity that taking climate action brings and making sure there is that public support and political will for making more climate action possible,” said Lori Lodes, Climate Power’s executive director.
Climate Power’s total investment will likely be among the biggest by environmental groups in a 2024 election that could pit a president touting his climate policy against a former president who denies the reality of global warming. Former President Donald Trump, the favorite for the Republican ticket, has mocked climate science and promised to be a “dictator” on his first day in office so his administration can “drill, drill, drill.”
The organization was founded in the sprint to the 2020 election by the American Progress Action Fund, the League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club. Now an independent company, Climate Power is collaborating on the ad campaign with Future Forward, a leading super PAC supporting Biden. The campaign is funded in part by liberal dark money sources that are not required to be disclosed under federal law.
Dems and progs are all about revealing dark money sources unless it interferes with what they’re doing. And the Sierra Club’s filthy fingers are intertwined in so much of this disgusting renewable scamming. They’d sell their mothers out if it would pad the bottom line, so what’s a raptor or a whale or some horseshoe crabs?
The article Climate Power linked to bemoans the effect Trump has had on the wind industry already. Billions of dollars in green grift – gone like that.
Workers and executives in the wind industry are deeply worried as the Trump administration has moved to bring the once-booming business to a standstill.
President Donald Trump, who has raged against wind turbines for many years, took swift action to crack down on wind on the first day of his second term. He paused federal permits and leasing for onshore and offshore wind projects and ordered a review of existing leases.
Trump’s targeted attack on wind, and the uncertain fate of key tax credits, have cast a shadow over the industry. Projects have been canceled, developers have taken billions in writedowns, and workers fear what’s next.
“It’s extremely frustrating. It feels like the rug can get pulled out from under our feet at basically any moment,” Joe Zimsen, a quality inspector under contract at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, told CNN in a phone interview.
The rug should have been pulled out long ago as they’ve been consistently selling the lie of ‘cheaper renewable energy’…
“Net zero” scammers tell us that solar and wind are cheaper than fossil fuels. 💵📉
Their simpleminded reasoning is that it costs nothing for companies to harness energy from the sun or wind, and is cheap to convert that into electricity and then transmit it to households whose… pic.twitter.com/gwg6RrLmMb

…International pricing data reveal that the larger share of solar photovoltaic (PV) and/or wind connected to the grid, the higher electricity prices are.
So, what do renewables advocates get wrong?
Well, it turns out the calculations of electricity prices on a kilowatt-hour (KWh) basis you see generally will only consider times when solar and wind technologies are optimized. Under favorable weather conditions (e.g., clear skies and/or windy weather), it is true that solar and wind will produce electricity for much lower cost than fossil fuels. However, sunlight is not always reaching the ground, and the wind does not always blow hard enough to propel the turbine blades in order to generate electricity.
Once you consider load balancing costs associated with renewables’ intermittency, property taxes due to large land requirements and utility returns, all of that gets passed down to the consumer and ultimately makes solar and wind technologies more expensive than fossil fuels (e.g., Idel, 2022).

What’s more, solar and wind’s lack of dependability means that they are simply supplements to existing energy sources. So, in essence, more electricity is being consumed because they are not replacing fossil fuels at scale. According to Rather & Mahalik (2023), for every six units of renewables added to the grid, less than one unit of fossil fuels comes offline.

That isn’t an energy transition. And one cannot really be possible unless our world leaders get serious about deploying more nuclear power.
There are no “high-solar / wind, low-cost” nations.
The figures don’t lie, but liars can figure.

THE LIES, THE LIES
Ocean industrialization has a steep price. Wind turbines ; Costly to build costly to maintain and the real costs are the environmental destruction of pristine marine eco systems. #ecofraud #corprategreed https://t.co/CqzDVhSo08

The scam is over. People can follow the ball under whatever cup they shuffle it to now.
There are projects which are still moving forward and which are going to be devastating in their impact for so little return, if there ever is one.
From measurements at Vineyard Wind November 2023, pile driving *with* best available noise controls is STILL just as loud as 2000-psi seismic airgun arrays!! And strikes every 2 seconds, 3x more than seismic airguns. Yet NOAA ignores and permits low frequency mechanical forcing… pic.twitter.com/E7Ywbimln3

A deaf whale is a dead whale.
This was a recent lightning strike off Ireland.
Blade catching fire from lightning strike. Debris & more can end up polluting the air & the ocean. This was off Ireland, anyone have video from @VineyardWindUS last week? Date of strike is oddly unclear. USCG says 2/27, BSEE says 2/28🤔? Hmm @njcoast_protect pic.twitter.com/dNs8QUTeUP

There was reportedly a similar strike at one in the Vineyard Wind project, which is the offshore farm whose shredded blade closed Nantucket beaches this summer.
Speaking of those blades…

…I haven’t heard anything from big wind booster Sierra Club what we’re supposed to do with all of them.
The amount of dangerous, unrecyclable waste groups like the Sierra Club and their minions are willing to foist on the peasants in pursuit of their goals is unconscionable.
“By 2050, there could be more than 40 million metric tonnes of wind turbine blade waste piling up worldwide.”

‘Figure it out later’ is not an acceptable plan anywhere unless you’re a cultist.
“Solar panel waste mountain: If current growth trends are sustained, the volume of scrap solar panels could be huge. By 2050, we could end up with more than 200 million tonnes globally.”

Those days are mostly over here in the States, thank God – at least for the foreseeable future.
