Whistleblower Warned FBI Schiff Leaked Classified Information

A Democrat whistleblower reportedly warned the FBI starting in 2017 that then-Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., approved the leak of classified information for the purpose of smearing President Donald Trump with now debunked Russiagate claims.

FBI reports obtained and first reported by Just the News state that a staffer who worked for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee sounded the alarm over the leaked information. The Democrat, whose name has been redacted, reportedly warned that the leaking of classified information was “unethical” and even “illegal.” The staffer was reportedly told not to worry because the Constitution’s speech and debate clause would protect Schiff from prosecution.

“This whistleblower literally sat in a meeting, he tells the FBI, where Adam Schiff authorized the leaking of classified secrets to dirty up Donald Trump and to try to build toward either a select committee in Congress or a special prosecutor,”  John Solomon, founder of Just the News, told Fox News Monday night.

Solomon describes the whistleblower as a “career intelligence officer” who worked for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee for over a decade when he sounded the alarm to the FBI and gave them four interviews. Following the interviews, no action was taken.

“In the case of Adam Schiff they got to the bottom of some classified leaks, but the Justice Department chose not to act,” Solomon said.

Schiff, who is now a senator, served on the House Permanent Select Committee On Intelligence for years before becoming chairman of the committee from 2019 to 2023.

The reported FBI memo detailing the whistleblower’s interviews with the FBI states: “In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP. SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP.”

FBI Director Kash Patel has declassified the FBI reports relaying the details of the interviews Congress conducted with the whistleblower.

“We found it. We declassified it. Now Congress can see how classified info was leaked to shape political narratives—and decide if our institutions were weaponized against the American people,” Patel wrote on X.
