Chuck Schumer’s Got a Shovel and He’s a Buryin’ Man – HotAir

As in ‘buryin’ Democrats’ hopes and dreams.’

He’s helping, you see.

…”You know what their attitude is, ‘I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me?’ … They hate government, government is a barrier to people. A barrier to stop them from doing things.”

Chuck is a diggin’ man – helping the Dems dig themselves into a deeper hole than the one they’re already in.

No spoonful of sugar for Chuckles, HAY-yull, no.

Chuck’s all about pile on the bile.

It’s been a terrific ten days or so for the Donks, I have to say.

So, sure, Chuck.

After your epic crawling out of the corner – the one you backed yourself into over last week’s CR – the one where Democrats went to the mattresses against saving taxpayer money, rooting out fraud, deporting criminal aliens, and cutting waste?

Every day, Dems land on the short side of the 80/20 divide – it’s like they can’t help themselves.

It’s a compulsive sickness.

DROP AND GIVE ME 20, TARLOV

And every single day, another story breaks, like this latest batch of empty buildings the director of U.S. Federal Housing (handles Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgages, etc.), Bill Pulte, just discovered after ‘less than 48 hours on the job.’

They’ve identified a lone former Biden staffer in the housing department who received a $2.1M severance paid over eight months’ time.

A building for one – just one – of his departments had office space set up for 2900 workers, but all of 49 on average showed up consistently…and a working cafeteria, complete with staff making meals for those absent workers every single day.

That one devoid-of-workers building is costing $57M in lease payments a year.

HOLY CRAP

But Democrats have priorities, so why not have Chuck take the shot and go for a reboot of…well.

You know.

That was incredibly effective, too.

Then again, that guy was a ‘communicator’ and couldn’t pull it off.

Chuckie under siege?

Not so much.

By the time the campaigns are fired up and ready to go for 2026’s congressional races, etc., Republicans aren’t going to have to spend a dime on attack ads.

Not a penny.

Every single day, there’s another ad there for the taking and making.

Democrats are burying themselves, and that’s okay by me.
