El-Sayed Staffer Lets His True Feelings About Americans and the Muslim Brotherhood Slip in Devastating Undercover Video

A ranking member of Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s organization has said the quiet part aloud — and there was an undercover camera rolling.

In a video published Monday by the conservative website The Midwesterner, a man identified as the Independent and Conservative Outreach Captain for El-Sayed’s Senate campaign dismissed growing concerns that the Democrat has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a group the U.S. State Department has designated a terrorist organization.

And his three words should sum up how leftists view American voters in general.

“Americans are idiots,” El-Sayed staffer T.J. Wolfgram told an operative surreptitiously recording the conversation.

Wolfgram brushed off the idea that El-Sayed harbors sympathies for the Islamic group, mockingly acknowledging that the candidate’s birth mother might have worked for an organization that might have donated money to the Muslim Brotherhood (she did and it did).

But, heck, that doesn’t mean El-Sayed’s got any ties himself, does it?

Well, given the circumstances, it actually probably does — especially when you bring his half-sister’s memories into it. But just for the sake of argument, maybe it doesn’t.

How then should Americans view the idea that El-Sayed’s father-in-law is a board member of the Council on American Islamic Relations?

That group has also been designated a terrorist organization by the states of Florida and Texas, as The New York Times noted.

(To be fair, CAIR gets designated a “Muslim Non-Profit” by The New York Times, which at this point is probably how the “newspaper of record” would describe Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, ISIS, and the Taliban, if its editors thought they could get away with it.)

And how should the huge donations to El-Sayed from CAIR — an unindicted co-conspirator in a 2008 prosecution in Dallas that The New York Times called the biggest terrorist financing case since the 9/11 attacks — be viewed by Americans who aren’t all that jazzed about the idea of Islamist supremacists lurking in the back rooms of the Senate?

Just listen to Wolfgram’s take on the Muslim Brotherhood when he thinks he’s talking in private:

“I don’t have any issue with the Muslim Brotherhood,” he told the undercover operative in the video. “And if I knew more about it, I might support some of what they do.”

“I mean, granted, there’s gonna be cultural differences,” Wolfgram said, “so there’s gonna be things about the way they go about what they do that I don’t agree with.

“We must understand that self-determination includes judgment calls that we don’t agree with,” he said.

“They may choose to treat women in ways that we don’t agree with. And I encourage us to contribute individual money toward NGOs working to combat that or a f***ing paramilitary organization — I don’t really care, but it’s not the collective choice we make as government should not be, as a default, to try and tell other people how to live.”

First of all, it’s pretty rich for a leftist in 2026 to be talking about telling “other people how to live.”

Do you believe T.J. Wolfgram’s comments reflect a common attitude among Democrats towards Americans?

Leftists want to tell everybody how to live — as long as that everybody lives in the West, where freedom is so taken for granted that it’s in danger of disappearing. When it comes to armed-to-the-teeth third-world thugs who kill critics for kicks, leftists get much more complacent.

(Don’t expect conservatives or Christians to get slack for “judgment calls” or “cultural differences.”)

But more important is that Wolfgram’s attitude undoubtedly comes from the top of the El-Sayed campaign.

It’s why El-Sayed has been dogged by questions about the Muslim Brotherhood and will continue to be.

For Wofgram, apparently, the deep-seated suspicion that El-Sayed isn’t coming clean about his support for the terrorist group known as the Muslim Brotherhood and its goals — a support El-Sayed essentially put in writing back in 2012 — isn’t a problem for the Democratic “doctor,” it’s a problem for the rest of country.

Americans are not “idiots.” But that’s exactly what leftists think of Americans — from the top tiers of the Democratic Party down to the antifa street thugs who are straining for a return to the glory days of the 2020 riots that made a martyr of a career criminal named George Floyd and slimed heroes of American history.

And no matter what happens in November, the truth is going to come out about El-Sayed and his ilk.

Already, they’re telling it themselves.
