LIVE ELECTION RESULTS and Running Beege Commentary (Whether You Want It or Not) – HotAir

Okay guys. Battery dying and while this is a poop, every single race was a blue state battle upwards, not something we had and lost. The folks who chose these characters and bottom dwellers will reap what they voted for.

Thank you all ever so much for all your terrific comments while keeping me company. You know I appreciate it SO much.

And no worries.

After all, tomorrow’s another day!

Later gators!

No kidding.

8:51 So, right now Jacob Frey is leading the whacko Somali in Minneapolis, but not by much in early returns.

3,444 36.1%
3,018 31.6%

As Martha MacCallum says, you can threaten to kill people, their children, and win the position of the top law enforcement official in the state. Hello.

8:46 And Fox calls it officially for the psycho in the Virginia AG race. God almighty

8:43 I can’t find anything on the Nazi, but as far as the referendum in Maine requiring ID to vote?

FUGGEDABOUDIT

Never fear. Even if Cuomo had Sliwa’s votes, he still would lsoe to Mamdani by a good margin.

Mamadani has Cuomo at 50-41% right now.

Breakdown of Sherrill voters: Women under 30, youth vote, black vote, college degree. ARGH Classic Dem voters and she didn’t get hit on honest and trustworthy?! HOLY COW!

Nazis. psychos and CHEATER PANTS.

8:29 Cold comfort, but my old county’s turned rose. For God’s sake, I just don’t get it.

8:22 Kind of wild with Hannity pointing out that a quarter of a million people have left NJ in the last three years.

The study tracks the company’s state-to-state migration patterns from its customers data. It revealed U.S. movers are seeking economic relief without sacrificing quality of life, reflecting a growing presence for less dense and more affordable regions.

The report said 67% of New Jersey moves were out of state in 2024, more than any other state. That’s a 2% increase from last year’s findings.

And Fox is calling the state for her.

And, sadly, I do not see Ciattarelli pulling this out. Trump counties are staying some shade of blue. Man. Blows my mind.

This must be Stockholm Syndrome on a mass scale.

8:13 Mamdani is beating combined Cuomo and Sliwa numbers. It’s like stick a fork in this one, it’s looking done before it even gets started.

Two million ballots cast – the largest ever in decades. What. Happens.

8:00 Polls closed in the Big Apple. Here we go.

7:56 What kind of revolting people live in Virginia and could vote for this?

I mean, wowsahs.

Yay, psychos and Nazis.

Golly Nell, at this rate, the New York City mayor’s race is going to come as comic relief.

7:51 Agree with Hemmer that this is going to be a 1-2 point race either way. And I was right about Monmouth, which went blue for Trump, switching to rose right now. Shocked to see light blue on the old home stomping ground of Sussex. But returns are early.

7:46 Interesting to the point about prematurely calling NJ. The deep blue in all the southern counties have turned pale blue. And Monmouth County, which had been BLUE, has turned a pale red. That’s a populous city-adjacent county that is turning red before our eyes as more votes are counted.

7:37 There have been a lot of premature calls in the NJ race. There are still polling places open because of the bomb threats this morning and the issues in Lakewood. And there are large GOP strongholds who haven’t reported a single vote yet. Not to mention, in the counties they’ve got painted blue, there are many townships who have yet to report their vote totals.

This ain’t over yet by a long shot.

7:22 Well, those PA Supreme Court races are a romp. And, to be fair, how many people pay attention to judges? There’s so little information on them and half the time you don’t even know the guys who are on the ballot.

But they have enormous leads and PA will stay safely woke should anyone get as far as that court challenging a case.

IRT my caution about NJ freakouts over the vote (and the INEXPLICABLE Decision Desk call of the race), even the NYT is like ‘ this could take all night.’

The first results from New Jersey are coming in. Leads in the reported numbers can be misleading until an area has reported most of its votes.

7:14 No freakouts allowed about NJ yet. All the blue cities and counties are going to report in first. Most everything blank on the map so far are the red counties and, for instance, Monmouth was running well ahead for GOP voters. Hemmer even says could be a ‘deep into the night’ So NO FREAK OUTS YET.

I will not allow them.

7:03 Jesse Watters is so right. The bar is so low now for Democrat candidates – sure, you can wish death on kids, and wear Nazi tattoos – that it’s a sad commentary on them.

There was a mayor in Olongapo, Phillippines who did not get his ‘Congratulations Mrs Aquino!’ sign up fast enough after the revolution, and we got to see him hauled away by the police for that, His name was mayor Yabbut and I’ve used it ever since, and I’ll use it here on Democrats and they’re sorry state – YABBUT, these scummy human beings still have people voting for them, however despicable they are.

That’s the problem with Democrats

6:58 Fox is calling it for Spanberger. It was always a long shot. The state legislature is also going to be predominantly Democrat, so good luck y’all. You brought that Schlitz on yourself.

6:55 I mean, we all knew this was the probability, but it’s still just so gobsmacking that blue voters are so braindead, that THIS is actually a choice.

GAAaHHHH

The NYT is nowhere near there yet even though the next update said Spanberger is on the way to a win by ‘a wide margin’

Our forecast of who might benefit from the remaining votes in this race is now live. We don’t have many results yet, so there is still a range of possible outcomes.

6:41 Wait, whut? X is already calling it for Spanberger?! With 20% in?!

Abigail Spanberger Elected Virginia’s First Female Governor Over Winsome Earle-Sears

Last updated

Abigail Spanberger, a former CIA officer and congresswoman, defeated Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears in Virginia’s gubernatorial election on November 4, becoming the state’s first female governor. The race, which garnered national attention as a gauge of Democratic strength post-President Trump’s 2024 reelection, featured Spanberger’s emphasis on affordability, education, and reproductive rights against Earle-Sears’ platform of tax cuts, law enforcement support, and job creation. Democrats also flipped the lieutenant governorship with Ghazala Hashmi’s win, while Attorney General Jason Miyares retained his seat, indicating a Democratic rebound in the battleground state.

6:33 Oooh! I forgot that creepy Somali guy running for mayor in Minneapolis. Guess I’m going to have to see how much he wins by, too.

RNC stepping in in Bergen County NJ

Hemmer on Fox just talking about how Winsome has to pull 85% in those rural counties to zero out all the blue votes up in the Tidewater.

6:23 Central I am not playing the 2% game in VA. Frickin’ Fairfax crushes my hopes and dreams everytime.

Remember I was telling you all about the Orthodox community in Lakewood, NJ? Check it out – got those hours extended because of the snafus. STAY IN LINE AND VOTE

Such nice Dems in VA

HEADS UP! Hours to vote extended in Chester County

Stay in line or get BACK in line

6:05 CST Welp. I’m not responsible for anything written in the comments in the past 15 minutes. Wasn’t me.

knock knock knock

This thing on? I’m here.

***********************************************************

Ah, friends – so here we are.

Together again for another nail-biting round of ‘Who Wins?’

And lemme add, I’m not falling for the ‘bellweather against Trump’ hype. These are deep blue states to begin with, where Trump had made, much to Democrats’ panic, deep inroads in the last election. Any gains or holding close to his percentages from last year would be pretty impressive. If we, miracle of miracles, flip one?

Oh, hawt dawg.

Trump isn’t ‘on the ballot’ in these particular states after less than a year in office, as much as they’d like to frame it that way. Democrat Party governance IS, and if there’s slippage, that tells you even more.

VIRGINIA: Everyone knows the story in Virginia. Feisty Republican Winsome Earle-Sears, the state’s current, no-nonsense Lt. Gov., has managed to pull her campaign into fightin’ territory with Democrat nominee, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger. Lackluster as she is, the loathsome Spanberger might well still be inexplicably running away with this contest were it not for the ticket’s repulsive and repugnant Attorney General nominee, one Jay Jones – he who wishes death on small children and wishes whizzes on Republican graves.

This vile toad, after being exposed in text messages for those offenses, has also been revealed as a speeding scofflaw who manipulated weekends at his PAC as ‘service’ to satisfy a traffic court judgment.

What’s not to love about him?

NOT A DAMN THING

If Virginia has any hope at all of remaining viable as a functioning state and not succumbing to the dreaded Democrat malaise, Republicans who haven’t voted yet will stir themselves out of the hollars and mountains of the rural areas and VOTE THE GOP TICKET. That’s the only way they’ll be able to offset the blue lunatic Left’s death grip in the D.C. metro area and Richmond, and keep men out of girls’ bathrooms and sports.

For starters.

CALIFORNIA: In CA, Newsom’s Prop 50 has a good chance of passing simply because people don’t realize that voting ‘yes’ is screwing themselves, especially the inland counties. ‘NO’ is the go vote there to stop the gerrymandering.

Nothing underhanded is going on here. As usual.

I SPEAK CHINESE – NONE OF THEM EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY’RE VOTING FOR

PENNSYLVANIA: This isn’t on our election widgets, but it’s terribly important. In Pennsylvania, there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to defeat three Democratic Supreme Court justices, the same ones who allowed all the late-arriving absentee ballots to be counted in the last election, among some of their greatest hits. They need to go.

Also, there are reports of issues with the voting rolls for independents in counties like Cumberland, where they were reportedly removed from the lists.

Stay frosty, stay in line, know who to contact to alert them of issues.

TEXAS: Okay, this is a crowded open-seat race due to the untimely death of Congressman Sylvester Turner. Whoever wins is only elected to only to finish out his term, not for the 2026 congressional cycle.

NEW YORK CITY: What a trainwreck. Cuomo has pulled within striking distance. Will Sliwa voters change at the last second? Have the late-breaking Mamdani videos and revelations been enough to scare disaffected voters off the couch to send this Communist slimer back under his rock and save Gotham from destruction?

Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers are pouring out to the polls Tuesday to vote in a series of local elections — including the most consequential mayoral race in decades.

Just shy of 460,000 residents cast ballots in the first six hours of polling sites being open starting at 6 a.m., according to tabulations released by the Board of Elections. That’s on top of the more than 735,000 people who voted early before Tuesday.

Taken together, that means the city had as of noon Tuesday already exceeded the 1.15 million turnout level set in the 2021 local elections. Polls remain open through 9 p.m.

WOOF. There’s a question.

NEW JERSEY: We come at last to my old home state, the auld sod of my youth. Republican Jack Ciattarelli has pulled into a statistical tie with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, and Democrats are spooked, big-time. Already this morning, there have been bomb threats called into several deep red polling places in an effort to disrupt the voting there.

Polling locations snafus, of course.

Polling stations are also having issues in the heavily Orthodox town of Lakewood, which has seen massive support developing for Ciattarelli.

Nothing suspicious there.

Again, stay frosty, stay in line, know who to report to, and document issues with.

Beege ADDS: So. I call New Jersey my nail-biter, we-might-just-pull-this-off contest, the Big Apple is an ‘I don even wanna look,’ and Virginia is my ‘wing and a prayer.’

I’ll start running updates and adding interesting anecdotes I find, like I always do, as polls start to close (VA at 7, NYC at 9, NJ at 8 EST). Just refresh the page to see if I’ve added anything – they’ll be at the top of the post.

As always, I would be delighted to have you with me as we see how it all shakes out. If Republicans manage to pull one of these out of a hat, it would be so wonderful.

See you in a bit. Light a candle.
