That is where the Democratic Party is today. Whether it is the celebration of Luigi Mangione, or the cheering for the assassination of Charlie Kirk, or the Democratic Party of Virginia rallying around Jay Jones, the Democrats are happy to tell you that they want Republicans dead and buried.

Yet another example comes from Winnebago County, Wisconsin. The OshKosh Democrats put up a booth at the local farmer’s market, and among the things they handed out were bracelets with “Is he dead yet?” printed on them.

Wisconsin Democrats were tossed from a farmers market after a vile volunteer handed out “Is he dead yet?” bracelets — including to a young child — in an apparent reference to President Trump.
The Winnebago County Democratic Party will no longer host a table at the Oshkosh Farmers Market as incendiary rhetoric against Trump and his allies has ramped up since the Republican returned to the White House this year.
The latest instance of menacing words came when a volunteer handed out the hateful bracelet to an 8-year-old child, who then showed it to their mother on Sunday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
I guess this is what they mean when they say they are “for the children,” right? Promoting the death of the President of the United States to a third grader sorta fits the bill, right?
The child’s mother, Katy Neubauer, was left stunned by the bracelet and dropped it back in the basket at the committee’s table, which also had other anti-Trump material, according to the newspaper.
“It’s hate speech. I mean, it’s literally wishing death on somebody, which isn’t appropriate in any scenario,” the outraged mom told Fox 11 News.
Oshkosh Farmers Market manager Michelle Schmid-Schultz told the station it was the local Democratic committee that handed out the bracelets, which yielded about 10 complaints from patrons and broke market rules.
She said local party officials and the market agreed that the Winnebago Dems won’t be back for the final two markets wrapping up the summer season.
I suspect that the Winnebago Democrats want to keep their heads down for a bit. As the Fox News reporter found out, they suddenly scattered to the winds and all “went on vacation” when the questions started being asked.
What is striking about all these instances is not so much that so many Democrats are saying these things–we have almost gotten used to it in recent months–but rather that it doesn’t even occur to them that anybody would object. They live in such closed bubbles where calling for or celebrating the death of somebody is so normal that they are surprised when there is a backlash.
Think about the Jay Jones controversy for a second. Those vile texts we have all seen were sent to a REPUBLICAN–he assumed that he could even say these things to a Republican and face no consequences at all. Casually talking about killing the Speaker of the House and having his children die in their mother’s arms is no big deal at all.
OF COURSE he would want that! Who wouldn’t?
That’s how these people think. It’s scary.
